Schwarzes Ross in Ganderkesee

Always happy to be there, whether for the asparagus party or the cabbage tour.

First: we had ordered 3 geese and can say: excellent! We had a delicious goose to pick up with the in-laws on Christmas Eve. This premiere was already very successful and made even more appetite and anticipation for the next 2 geese on Christmas Day with the older children. Preparation according to the enclosed instructions was no problem at all and the animal came out of our oven extremely tasty and golden brown. Overall, the goose and the side dishes more than met our taste and that of our guests. Everyone rolled home full and satisfied. We wanted to order a goose for the New Year (and only for us 😋), even if that makes a hungry impression. Unfortunately, unfortunately already sold out. That shows how delicious the birds were. Hopefully the pandemic time will soon be over, there is hope, then we'll stop by the restaurant. And otherwise, more geese are reserved in our calendar for Christmas 2021. Since I've been a regular customer of the black horse for a long time, I of course celebrated my daughter's first day of school there (after observing the hygiene regulations)! There was a great buffet, well organized, very, very tasty as always and we had the beautiful fireplace room to ourselves. The staff deserves full marks. Always friendly and the best thing about the horse, you are very child-friendly, a family business through and through! Families can feel very comfortable there. Many thanks to the whole team! I'll be back for breakfast / brunch 😍

New Year's Eve party was great, delicious food, nice atmosphere, good atmosphere and the hall was not too crowded. We will be there again next year.

It was the first time we had dinner at the Schwarzen Ross in Bookholzberg. We were positively surprised by the ambience in the "chimney room", where a historic chimney blazed warm and cozy. The service was very courteous and helpful. After an absolutely acceptable waiting time, we were served the visually very appealing food. Above average in terms of taste and quality. At the end there was a nightcap at the bar, including friendly conversations with the head of the house. We were there with 4 people and came to the unanimous conclusion: Absolutely recommendable!

Knuckle food ... really good. Large (almost a little too big) portion, dumplings, mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, red cabbage and a nice fresh draft beer .....

On my last visit to the Schwarze Ross years ago, the food was very tasty. My last visit recently confirmed my expectations. The staff is also always friendly engaged. This time I also had the opportunity to use one of the hotel rooms for the night. The rooms are modern and clean. The rooms in the roof should not be larger than 1.75m.

We had a wonderful evening at the Schwarze Ross. The food was very delicious. The lamb and the salmon .... just great. We look forward to many more beautiful evenings in the Black Horse. The staff as always very helpful and friendly. The boss also has a nice word for everyone. Thank you very much we will be back.

We were with 16 people for Christmas buffet and disco in the black steed. Due to the previous reviews, I was curious what we get served there. At 18 o'clock was inlet and you were brought to the table where you spend the evening. The service was nice and accompanied us the whole evening. The first order of drinks was quickly recorded and just as quickly the glasses were empty again, because the first rounds are served in small glasses and only after the meal were also brought large glasses or you got bottles to the table. Maybe you should think again about the small glasses, because it is a bit annoying with the small glasses 0.2 l. The food was great and everything was hot and cooked to perfection. As soon as something was empty was immediately refilled. So I can not complain. What I lacked was ice cream but that is complaining of a high level, the duck was super with the sauce and also the chicken. Then it went off with the disco and here was everything super the music styles went in all directions, because the DJ has played to the audience. So the dance floor was always full and there was enough to drink. So a successful evening for the complete package of € 49.90 also the alcoholic drinks were no lint and therefore almost none had the next day a big head.
